Heidi's Album

If you visit our retail store you will probably recognize Heidi's smiling face. She is a fun employee, ready to help you find the perfect product. Not only is she a great papercrafter, she speaks German (among other languages), and is currently planning her upcoming wedding! She created a mini album full of great layouts to help you scrapbook your summer fun.

Melissa Saul's Card

Jessica's Coasters

We would like to introduce you to Jessica. She is an interior designer who designs many of the projects for club and writes instructions. You may catch a glimpse of her beautiful little daughter on some of the layouts she creates. We love the stylish way she dresses and her quiet sense of humor.


Jessica made these pretty Claire drink coasters. Here are her instructions:

Supplies:
4” x 4” glass squares
copper foil tape (available at most craft stores or stained glass shops)
paper
die-cuts

Pick up 4” x 4” pieces of glass from your local glass shop. Mine cut them for me, no big deal.

Cut 4” x 4” pieces of paper – I used Claire
Cut flowers out of the paper or use die-cuts, layer them on the 4” x 4” pieces
Sandwich the paper between 2 pieces of glass
Use copper foil tape around the edge of the glass to hold the 2 pieces together

Monika's Favorite Things Book

Amy's Cord Holders

We would like to introduce you to Amy. She helps out in the Art Studio when she is not busy with college, writing, photography, or looking up random facts on her iPod Touch. She got this project idea from one of her favorite blogs, Apartment Therapy. It is really simple and all you need are a few supplies you probably already have.


Yep, you guessed it. Those are toilet paper rolls.


She used Bridgeport's Pavilion paper for this one.

Hilde's Juliette Layouts

We are happy to feature two layouts created by Hilde (aka Scoobie) from Norway. We love how she used the Juliette collection. She took the floral papers and added pearls & doilies to made them look like snowflakes and flurries. For more of her SEI projects and details, check out her blog.

Here's what Hilde said about the Juliette collection last month:
"When I saw the Juliette line, my first thought was Snow! Don’t ask me why, but I think it was some of the patterns which made me think of snowflakes, and the colors, too. Where I live, in Norway, we often have snow this time of year, at least quite cold (right now: -10 degrees C and 50 cm of snow)."

Time to Decorate

It is crazy to think that Christmas is less than a month away. For many people the day after Thanksgiving means it's time to decorate for the holidays. If you are Jenny Chesnick it means you have been preparing for a while. Jenny sent us images of these wreaths she made using our WinterSong and Christmas Mint collections back in October. Fall Family Tree

Although the first official day of winter is not until December 21, in my mind fall is over after Thanksgiving or the end of November. So, I thought we should show you some of the beautiful autumn creations that have been submitted to us by our readers before it is too late. This one would be a lovely Thanksgiving decoration.
